Encounter Studio is based in Victor Harbor, South Australia. The studio is primarily a still life and landscape photography one, though it also includes photographing coastal seaside architecture. The work is primarily film-based, and it is usually done with medium (Rolleiflex SL66 and 6006) and large format (Linhof Technika 5×4 and Cambo 8×10) cameras in both colour and black and white. The studio has its own blog. Some of the coastal work is on The Littoral Zone blog.
The studio is engaged in a project to document the landscape and architecture in and around the southern Fleurieu Peninsula. This is rapidly changing, due to seachange, with much of the architectural history in danger of being lost.
