This is the Encounter Bay beach that Ari and I often walk along in the early morning, whilst Suzanne takes Ari rabbit hunting west of Rosetta Head. Both Franklin Parade and the beach are very popular with walkers, joggers and dog walkers in the early morning. On this occasion it was a late afternoon walk and, for some reason, there were few people around. The sun was just behind the hills that surround Victor Harbor.
I guess that people stayed indoors because it had been raining most of that day and it was cold. The rain cleared during the walk and we had some dramatic clouds moving across Encounter Bay just as the sun was disappearing.
