I came down to Victor Harbor on Saturday afternoon to escape the noise from the urban renewal happening outside the inner city apartment. They are building three blocks of apartments and digging up the road. The noise is constant.
It was bright and sunny and the poodlewalk was along the cliff tops to Kings Beach. Instead of walking in the sun along the beach to go to Kings Head we cut back towards Rosetta Head. The tide was out and it was in shadow and so we could slowly make our way along the rocks at the base of the cliffs.
I was wanted to sit and look at the sea moving and the patterns in the rocks. I’d never looked at this area closely. There were some interesting shapes amongst the rocks at the foot of the cliffs. Interesting enough to photograph and to do a bit of scoping to see if they would be suitable for large format photography.
