at Port Augusta

On our way to our base in Venus Bay on the west coast of Eyre Peninsula we stayed overnight at Port Augusta. The rainy weather eventually cleared, and we were able to go for an evening walk along the cliffs above the Upper Spencer Gulf and the edge of the Arid Lands Botanic Park.

We returned for the early morning poodllewalk for the early morning so that I could make a couple of photos of the Upper Spencer Gulf looking towards the railway bridge and the Flinders Ranges from the Redcliff lookout.
