Whilst we have been at Victor Harbor this week we—Suzanne, Raffi, Ari and myself—took the opportunity of the sunny weather to do an afternoon poodlewalk along Currency Creek, which is just north of the Goolwa township on the River Murray.
Currency Creek is one of the many creeks that flow into Lake Alexandrina and there is a walking trail alongside the creek for a kilometre or so going north from the Goolwa-Strathalbyn Rd,then it is all private property. There is not much common land.
I had been there in 2011 photographing with a 5×4, but the results were generally disappointing. That day was overcast and dull, and the light was very flat. I’d always planned to return but we’d never got around to it, until yesterday.
