at Port Adelaide

Sunday’s afternoon poodlewalk with Ari and Raffi was at Port Adelaide. I had been working on some of my archived pictures of the Port, and suddenly felt a desire to pick up the threads.

We checked out Dock 2 briefly, then we walked along the river from an access point near the Torrens Island Power Station. There’s an old road that runs along side the river which has been closed off to vehicles but now functions as a walking track.

It’s ages since I’ve been down at Port Adelaide photographing around the old buildings, the wharf, estuary and the edgelands. I used to go down there regularly for a year or so with the poodles to make photographs, then I stopped. I was becoming stale.
